Soft as cashmere, very light, several times warmer than sheep wool and yet durable and allergy-free: Premium Baby Alpaca Plaids are most admirable nature creations. Premium Baby Alpaca only makes up 1% of the world’s yearly Baby Alpaca shear – a plaid made of Premium Baby Alpaca is therefore something truly special and unique. No wonder this highest quality fiber is often also called Royal Alpaca.
These delicately woven plaids are available in several designs and colors. Despite their high quality, they are affordable and far from Cashmere plaid prices, eventhough they can easily comptete with them and have become a highly valued alternative for Cashmere.
Many of our throws come in natural Alpaca colors – from white to grey, anthrazite and light brown to dark brown – while our other plaids are dyed with AZO-free colors. Alpaca does not contain lanolin and due to this, doesn’t scratch at all and is hypoallergenic!
