Shipping

Delivery times:

We ship with Swiss post priority. Delivery takes place within 1-2 days from reception of your order. We are currently in the starting phase of this onlineshop and will optimize shipment procedures to guarantee next day delivery in the near future. In many cases this may already work now but please be aware that we cannot yet guarantee it. In case you are in great hurry, please get in touch and we will strive to do the best we can to serve your needs.

Due to Corona, Swiss Post may have difficulties to deliver at standard speed, particularly before Christmas. Consider ordering early if you need guaranteed delivery for Christmas.

Shipping to EU-countries may take 4-7 days due to export procedures.

Courrier home delivey:

Within Basel and surroundings, courrier same day delivery may be arranged at additional cost (varies depending on location). Please get in touch if you wish super fast delivery.

Pick up in store:

Pick up is possible by prior appointment at our pick up point in the store of Velo Outlet velomaerkte at Barfüsserplatz Basel (entrance by the backside of Barfüsser church). During checkout, please choose the option pick up in store (no shipping cost will be charged). Please check here for details and opening hours.

Shipping charges:

- No shipping charges apply for orders over Fr. 50.00

- For orders below, regular shipping cost is Fr. 6.90 (fees for shipment of fingerpuppets: see below)

- For orders containing only fingerpuppets, shipping cost is Fr. 1.00 (also if you order several fingerpuppets).

- International shipping charges (international shipping is currently possible only for orders above Fr. 100.00):

We are based in Switzerland and ship to all EU countries at a standard flat rate. We can also ship worldwide but please get in touch if you would like to order to a country outside the EU.

Orders to EU countries are shipped at a flat rate which covers transport cost and import taxes/VAT of your country, so you will not have any burocracy hassle when you receive your parcel. The charges depend on the value of the order and will be calculated during checkout. Behind the scenes, this means that Swiss VAT of 7.7% is deducted from the sales prices and the VAT of your country is added (to be precise, we apply one single flat rate for all EU countries and carry the cost of any differences between the countries). All EU countries have significantly higher VAT rates than Switzerland, so prices are a bit higher. However, the shipping charges are low because we ship EU-orders from Germany, so in total the price is very reasonable for a cross-border shipment from outside the EU. Please note that due to export procedures, we can only ship orders above Fr. 100.00.
